In Fall 2025, I was nominated to the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at LSU, an honor that reflects academic achievement and a commitment to personal and professional growth. The NSLS nomination has given me opportunities to develop leadership skills and connect with other driven students who are serious about making an impact in their fields.
While I’m still early in my career, I’ve gained valuable experience in service-oriented roles that require strong communication, problem-solving, and reliability.
At LA Leak Detection, I worked as a Service Technician, diagnosing and repairing pool leaks using specialized equipment. This role taught me the importance of precision and client communication—when someone has a problem, they want someone who can identify it quickly, explain it clearly, and fix it right the first time.
Before that, I spent a summer as a Camp Counselor at Gleason Life Skills, where I facilitated activities for 7-12 year olds, supervised groups of 15+ children, and collaborated with staff to ensure a safe and positive environment. It was a lesson in adaptability—every day brought new challenges, and success meant staying calm, thinking on your feet, and keeping everyone engaged.
I also worked as a Transporter at Roller Bouncehouse, coordinating equipment setup and teardown at events across the region. This role reinforced the importance of logistics, safety protocols, and customer service—all skills that translate directly to construction management.
I’ve always been drawn to work that’s tangible and results-driven.
Construction management combines problem-solving, leadership, and hands-on execution in a way that feels purposeful.
I like the idea of being part of projects that shape communities.
Whether it’s a commercial building, a residential development, or infrastructure that improves people’s lives.
What excites me most about construction management is the blend of planning and adaptability.
You can have the best plan in the world, but things change on-site, and you have to adjust.
That’s where strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking come into play—skills I’ve been developing throughout my education and work experience.
When I’m not studying or working, I stay active. Golf is a big part of my life—it’s a sport that requires focus, patience, and constant improvement, all things I value. I also enjoy fitness and outdoor activities, and I still follow football and baseball closely.
I grew up in the New Orleans area, and I’m proud to be from a city with such a strong sense of community and resilience. Those values—hard work, loyalty, and showing up for the people around you—are things I try to bring into everything I do.
My goal is to build a career in construction management where I can contribute to meaningful projects while continuing to learn and grow. I’m particularly interested in companies that prioritize safety, sustainability, and innovation.
I’m currently seeking internship opportunities where I can apply what I’ve learned at LSU in a real-world setting. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, eager to learn, and committed to doing quality work, I’d love to connect.
